Peer Index has rolled out some neat innovations to help people who manage multiple social media accounts or perhaps monitor several on behalf of their company or clients. One example is the new group feature, which allows you to create a league table showing each account’s relative performance according to its PeerIndex score. The example below shows how some of Microsoft UK’s official accounts are ranked:
It’s important to note that PeerIndex can only do its stuff properly if accounts are registered at www.peerindex.net. This allows PeerIndex to access rich data and more accurately gauge their authority, activity and audience reach. In the example above, PeerIndex scores have been estimated for most, if not all, accounts because few are currently registered with PeerIndex.
You can also create a group for the people you follow, or the people who follow you, to help identify the relative influence of the connections within your social graph. PeerIndex takes feeds from Twitter, Facebook, Quora, LinkedIn, blogs and other sites, so add as many as you wish to make your social profile complete.
